Apple Launches Single Sign-On for iOS and tvOS
Apple has officially launched its new Single sign-on feature for iOS and tvOS.Single sign-on lets you sign in to your cable or satellite-TV provider on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV then use supported video apps that your pay TV subscription includes without needing to sign in again.Currently, Single sign-on is only available in the United States. Below is a list of providers that support the feature.● CenturyLink Prism● DirecTV● Dish● GVTC● GTA● Hawaiian Telcom● Hotwire● MetroCast● SlingHow to Sign in from your Apple TVYou can sign in with only one TV provider at a time. Here's how:● Make sure that you have tvOS 10 or later.● Go to Settings > Accounts > TV Provider.● Choose your TV provider and sign in with your TV-provider account information. Contact your TV provider for help with forgotten usernames or passwords.● Choose your TV provider from the Settings menu on Apple TVHow to Sign in from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touchYou can sign in with only one TV provider at a time.
